Here’s another little batch of free demos for y’all. As always, we encourage you to spread them around for others to enjoy. Also, I’m uploading a remixed version of “Running”, which got kind of screwed up in the rush to get everything out last time we recorded, so enjoy that. We’re playing Mar 24th for free at Flicker and again Mar 31st at Tasty World, so come see us!

Goodiebag.tv recently used one of Windom Earle’s songs in a video post. I hadn’t heard of them before but found them to be quite a talented group of people. They have a synth pop feel to them, if you are into that type of thing, and offer most of their music for free under a Creative Commons license. Check it and get yourself a download.
Side note: The font used in the banner above is “Fina.”

For those of you who didn’t know, Claire is not only a terrific photographer, but in fact excels brilliantly in pretty much any creative endeavor she undertakes.
Case in point.
This is part of my remastering spree too… the overcompressedness of the CD mix was killing me. This one’s still overcompressed, but you know. It works.

Pure magic. Dunno how it happened.
It was Mike and Alex on vocals, me on guitar, with nothing to go by except the name “Laserworld”. Maybe the sound quality isn’t terrific, but damned if it doesn’t catch the most beautiful, poignant, and insightful, and glorious musical moment in recent history.

Aldina wanted to start a screamo band.
“Because I can’t sing.” she explained. I knew the feeling.
Somehow though, we created something beautiful. The full title of this song is “The River Is Running Red Tonight As We Talk About Our Feelings”. Let your inner emo brat scream along.
We’ll probably do another one as soon as my workload lets up.

So this is an old Division by Zero song by Mr. Ben Yarling that I recorded for them years ago but never really got around to finishing. Then last week I was reminded of it and inspired to finally go back and wrap it up, and I do believe it sounds rather gorgeous. Have a listen.

I dunno what to call this one. Kind of dancy techno rock instrumental thing. Remixed it just today for improved performance.

This one’s just me. Not counting the timpani samples I dug up and pitch shifted. Speaking of which, try to listen to it on something with good bass response, those timpani are where the real magic is.

So this one is a polka cover of a song by a band called Rehab. Go listen to the original, it’ll make you appreciate this one that much more. Also, all these lyrics are really from the song. Yes, even “Bone the dawn feels wrong” and “Little bitty guilties crawling all over my soul”.
Primarily me and Larry, with some backup vocals by John Cardinal.

Needs no real introduction. The little bit of freshman year magic that’s mostly Mike’s doing, also features Brian on those gorgeous chorus vocals. And if you haven’t seen Emlen’s video, check that out as well.

Disco song featuring Sam Perren and Larry Cardinal. In case you can’t figure it out for yourself, the premise for the song is (I think) a crazy fat black lady who has Daniel Radcliffe’s baby… I would also like to go on record saying that I did not write any of the filthy lyrics.

Techno track with some compelling vocals by Rebecca Hale. And some rather disquieting ones from myself
